My Journey
My name is Rosa Fatone.
Welcome to My Journey
I invite you to join me on my path of self-discovery and emotional growth.
Throughout my life,
I’ve explored the depths of love while confronting moments of anger and pain
—each emotion shaping my understanding of who I am.
Every choice I’ve made has been a stepping stone toward greater awareness and appreciation.
Every person I’ve met has offered a lesson that continues to enrich my journey.
I created this website to share my love for life and my deep respect for Mother Nature.
The choices I made in the past have inspired me to follow a new path,
as the spinning wheel of life has turned a little too fast in recent years.
Life has taught me to slow down,
to notice the beauty around me,
and to value the power of our senses—those incredible tools we often overlook.
I’ve come to understand the energy that connects all living beings,
and how every creature uses that energy in its own unique way.
This is the gift of life.
Without light, there is no life.
Reflecting on my journey.

October 2024
In October 2024, I made significant strides in expanding my self-awareness. Confidence has long been a challenge for me, often overshadowed by a fear of judgment and the potential for mistakes that could lead to humiliation. However,
I refuse to let fear hold me back.
I confronted my fears by gaining the courage to set my pride aside and actively pursue my goals. Being aware of the challenges, this experience has built my confidence and propelled me to take decisive action. Every situation—happy, sad, or angry—
has taught me a valuable lesson.
This month, I have taken bold steps that I would have shied away from in the past. My confidence is no longer driven solely by necessity; October 2024 marks when I let go of fear and embraced my true self. I have sought out groups of like-minded individuals who share my dreams, forging a path toward who I want to become. This journey, though rocky, because I acknowledge the difficulty our world is experiencing and has never stopped experiencing throughout history, whether created by us humans or evolution, I find a moment to be surrounded by lush grass and vibrant, blossoming flowers of every colour. I walk through it with purpose, appreciating the beauty of nature along the way. Building my confidence stronger by firmly
believing in my capacity for growth and improvement. My firm belief in myself has empowered me to present my artwork and express my appreciation for nature. I am ready to
embrace new opportunities and showcase my creativity with confidence.
The artwork I created for this month's competition will not be revealed until after December, as entries are still being accepted until then.
I look forward to sharing it with you when the winners will be announced in the new year.

January and February 2025
It has taken me a long time to finally sit at my desk and write about what I’ve been up to.
Life is often full of surprises. One minute, there are routines to stick to, schedules to follow, and promises to keep, and life moves along.
Then, in the next moment, life—or what I believe to be the Universe—decides to surprise me with a change in direction.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a deep connection with animals. Their presence has always been a source of comfort and understanding, something that words often fail to capture. This connection has shaped my art, inspiring me to create works that express not only their beauty but also their struggles, particularly those of Australian endangered species.
Recently, I ve taken a step further by immersing myself in animal care services. Studying and volunteering. Giving me firsthand experience in caring for animals, understanding their behaviours, and recognising their silent emotions. This hands-on work is more than just a career shift-it’s a way to deepen my bond with creatures I love and express their stories though my art in an even more emotional and authentic way.
As I continue this journey, I hope my art will not only raise awareness about endangered species but also serve as a bridge between people and the animals we share this world with. Through both care and creation, I want to give them a voice, a presence.and a place in our hearts

Tasmania- A Wild Heartbeat of Australia
This artwork celebrates the unique and irreplaceable wildlife of Tasmania, framed within the iconic shape of the island itself. Featuring the fierce but vulnerable Tasmanian Devil, the elusive Eastern Quoll, the delicate Eastern Barred bandicoot and the quietly curious echidna, each animal represents a piece of the ecosystem we risk losing. Also present is the charming pink robin, a flash of colour among the forest greens, and the platypus, Tasmania’s aquatic oddity, gliding through cool streams. Surrounded by native plants and the island’s ancient, misty waterfalls, this piece is a reminder of what we must protect- and why it matters.
